dc.description.abstract This consulting project is about Azercell Telecom LLC - the market leader of the telecom industry of Azerbaijan. It evaluates the company’s performance during the major transformational challenge of becoming a state-owned enterprise (SOE). I measure how successful company is in achieving his long-term transformational goals. To that end, I examine major KPIs from various business perspectives including commercial and financial stability, market positioning and internal efficiency. In addition, I attempt to define gaps in the organizational effectiveness and hypothesize over the staff and consumer base’s attitude towards the changes. Research methodology exploits interviewing, financial statement review, social media (Facebook) review and sampling by conducting an internal review. I make use of both both quantitative and qualitative methods. All the conclusions and recommendations made relate to the assessment and analysis process and are supported by implied literature sources. I conduct comparative review analysis of summary statistics and measure of central tendency for social media and survey responses. Financial statement in turn were assessed according to solvency and liquidity ratios. Finally, survey outcomes were put under hypothesis testing and multiple regression model. Outputs of these evaluations concluded that Azercell’s corporate standing is well-sustained and promising but there is room for improvement. Outcomes obtained from these processes led to feasible outcomes like the challenge with capturing incremental market share comprised of more youth and tackling the internal gap of teamwork and collaboration. Furthermore, the research identified significant shifts in the company’s internal productivity caused by the turmoil on the back of new changes. It was advised that Azercell should rapidly push forward in benefiting from these privileges. Furthermore, the company management can benefit from advisory concerning internal efficiencies development. This concerns policy changes and specific regulatory nuanced that may contribute in the overall well-being of the company. en_US
